The Quetta Gladiators had a refreshing team bonding session on Friday as they hit the waters at Dubai Marina to build a better chemistry among themselves. The players and management had a delightful session of almost three hours accompanied by their families as well.
Fast-bowler Umar Gul said that the chemistry is already good and such activity will further improve it.
"The understanding between our players, may it be foreigners, domestic or Pakistan's international players, is fantastic and this night out at the Dubai Marina would only improve it further," Gul shared. "Players need these sorts of activities to keep them fresh on tours and I think it's a very good decision by the management and owner Nadeem Omer that they brought us here."
He further added that maiden victory against United in the PSL opener has lifted the mood in the camp and everyone is looking to build upon it to ensure that only get better as the event progresses. Meanwhile, the owner Nadeem stated that he has become a big fan of his team as every player is very cooperative and supportive of each other.
"So far from what I've seen, each and every individual is so keen to do well for Gladiators not only in the match but the hunger could be seen in practice sessions as well. Hopefully, the youngster would learn from the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and others," he commented.
"We want to give all the players maximum comfort level so that when they go out in the ground, they are free from all sort of pressures and can focus on their performances."
