Azim hit a dozen sixes and 21 fours for his 57-ball 175 as AGE Group, batting first, piled up 339 for the loss of two wickets. His opening partner Faraz carried his bat through with a 52-ball 122 which included 16 hits to the fence and one six over it. Haseem hit an unbeaten 21 from nine balls and hit three boundaries.
In reply Tawseel succumbed to the pressure and were all out for 71 in 16.4 overs. Only four batsmen – Ashiq (16), Asfaque (13), Arif (12 not out) and Siyab (11) – reached the double figures.
Isaq bagged three wickets for 13 runs while Imtiaz and Nabeel claimed two each for 11 and nine runs respectively. Mohammed Azim of AGE Group was named the man of the match.
In another match Hashmat missed a century by nine runs but saw his team Afridi CC beat Tiger Steel by 75 runs. Hasmat scored 91 and also took a wicket to bag the man of the match award. He hit six sizes and seven fours as Afridi CC, batting first, scored 225 and later restricted their rivals to 151 for six.
