Hashmat Khan hit a 13-ball 30 which included three towering sixes and one boundary. Khan also bagged three wickets later to walk away with the man-of-the-final award. Mohammed Zahid scored an 11-ball 25 with the help of two sixes and equal number of fours while Shahzad Manna made 17 from 15 deliveries.
Haji Irfan Akram and Saqib Rasheed scored 14 each as Afridi CC set up a 191-run victory target for Al Futtaim Motors Toyota.
Tariq and Imtiaz were the most successful bowlers for Al Futtaim claiming two wickets each. While Tariq conceded 35 runs, Imtiaz gave away 40. Asghar, Arif and Ashraf picked up one each and conceded 35, 37 and 43 runs respectively. Requiring to make almost 10 runs an over, Al Futtaim Motors Toyota crumbled under pressure and never came close to the asking rate. In the end they managed only 206 for the loss of six wickets conceding victory to Afridi CC by 84 runs.
Waseem was the lone Al-Futtaim batsman to offer some resistance making 40 from 29 deliveries. He hit one six and reached the ropes five times during his stay at the crease.
Tariq and Javed scored 14 each while Rawoof contributed 13. The rest of the batsmen failed with the bat as Al Futtaim Motors Toyota ended their 20 overs making only 106 runs.
Hashmat Khan was the most successful bowler for the winners. He took three wickets conceeding only six runs. Shahzad Manna also took three wickets for 15 runs. Mohammed Adnan claimed one for 18.
Hashmat Khan of Afridi CC was named the man-of-the-match for his all-round performance.
Mohammed Javed and Sajid Hussain officiated as umpires for the final.
