The UAE has vaccinated 49,967 residents against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at over 5.05 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 51.11.
The authorities had on Saturday announced that the UAE has administered more than five million Covid-19 vaccine doses.
The country, according to Our World in Data website, continues to be a global leader in rolling seven-day averages of doses offered per 100 people.
Overall, the UAE is the second highest in the cumulative vaccine distribution rate.
All residents, whether vaccinated or not, have to follow all preventive guidelines when stepping out of their homes: Mask up and maintain a safe social distance in public.
