Employees of some establishments have to undergo compulsory PCR Covid tests every week in Ajman.
The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster team in Ajman said the decision is effective from Tuesday, March 2.
Weekly PCR tests are mandatory for workers at:
>> Restaurants and cafes
>> Supermarkets
>> Sports halls
>> Salons
>> Labour recruitment offices
>> Food and meal delivery companies
>> Car wash.
Employees who have received both doses of the Covid vaccine are exempted from the requirement.
They must have the contact tracing app AlHosn installed on their phones.
Inspection rounds to ensure compliance will begin three days from today.
