Kuwait government advised nationals against non-essential travel, unless 'absolutely necessary' - in order to curb the spread of contagious coronavirus variants.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, the govt said that strict measures were being implemented worldwide to halt the spread of highly-contagious new strains of coronavirus.
The ministry urged those who need to travel for essential purposes to provide health insurance that covers all ailments, including coronavirus, valid for the entire period of their stay.
"The importance of full adherence to health guidelines in host countries and the need to follow updates or amendments to these measures was also stressed, bearing in mind that these measures may differ from country to country some of which may be introduced without prior notice," the statement added.
