The Pakistan government has made it mandatory, starting October 5, 2020, for all international passengers flying into the country to provide a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test 96 hours prior to their departure.
Dr Faisal Sultan, special assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, announced on Twitter that besides a negative Covid-19 test, passengers coming to Pakistan will need to download the PassTrack App. The app will seek mandatory information from passengers which they need to submit 48 hours before arriving in Pakistan.
Currently, passengers from 38 countries, including Saudi Arabia, are exempted from mandatory Covid-19 testing until October 8 when the list will be updated.
International travellers coming to Pakistan (effective 5th Oct 2020) will be required to:
1. Download the "Pass Track App" and fill out info
2. Have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test (travelers from some countries are exempt from this).
