Ajman Police have approved the move to expand the vaccination campaign against the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP).
The jab will be administered to the public for free of cost at police stations, private and government hospitals.
Major-General Sheikh Sultan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-chief of Ajman Police, said an intensified vaccination drive would safeguard the public from the contagion.
Ajman Police are working on providing vaccination to their employees and superannuated personnel.
The authorities are looking to administer the jab to senior citizens suffering from chronic diseases and also people of determination working with the Ajman Police.
The force will work on creating more awareness about the effectiveness and significance of taking the jab.
Major-General Sheikh Al Nuaimi called upon the officials, and all employees in the force to expeditiously take the jab in a bid to make the emirate Covid-19 free.
The vaccine will be administered to the public at police stations across Ajman.
