In a relief for tenants in Dubai and Sharjah, a real estate company has announced a three-month rent exemption across its properties.

The owners of Al Husn Properties and Golden Loaf Bakery on Tuesday said that more than 600 tenants will benefit from this move. Properties that come under this initiative are flats, commercial offices, shops, warehouses, parking land, etc. Additionally, the tenants who were already struggling to pay their rents are exempted from eviction.

Mustafa Al Husseiny, General Manager, said: "It is a part of our civic duty to be with the UAE government's efforts to support the society and reduce its burden during the current situation. The idea behind this initiative is to encourage other property owners to have a humanitarian approach towards the tenants in this time of crisis."

He added that Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry also recognised the efforts of Golden Loaf to ensure the supply of essential products to the citizens of UAE during this tough scenario under Covid-19.
