Ranjha Vikram Singh is a dynamic actor and producer who has acted in movies like Heropanti, Mumbai Godfather, Aatma, Souten apart from acting in Punjabi and Telugu films. He has acted with stars like Tiger Shroff, Prabhas, Tamannah, Kriti Sanon and Mahesh Babu and many others throughout his journey in the film industry.
How did your acting journey start?
I have been in the movies since 2005 and it's been a long journey. I was selected for my first movie Mumbai Godfather by director Deepak Balraj Vij in New Delhi on our very first meeting. We met through a common family friend and he signed me immediately saying that I have great potential to be a star. That day was in January 2005.
I have done 16 movies as a hero/villain so far and still getting stronger. I am grateful to my family, friends and the greater power for support and strength.
What inspired you to act in movies?
It was my inner voice that pushed me into acting and, yes, my brother Uday who is based in Dubai forced me to give a shot and boom...
You have worked with Tiger Shroff in Heropanti. How would you describe him as a co-star?
Tiger is a very hard working actor and a great dancer. I wish him great success always and I am looking forward to working with him once again.
Can you tell us about your forthcoming projects?
I am doing a few projects in Bollywood and Punjabi films as well. But it's too early to talk about them.
What are the five things that you cannot live without?
Acting in movies means everything to me. Apart from that I cannot live without gymming, boxing training, my family and close friends.
How would you describe your journey in Bollywood?
The journey has been good with ups and downs but the road to success is always bumpy.
What is your fitness routine?
I prefer eating healthy food and exercising daily. Fitness to me means balancing both these activities.
What is your favourite movie?
The Rocky series of Sylvester Stallone are my favourite films.
What are your favourite movies that you have acted in?
It is very difficult for an artist to choose one favourite from their line of work but if you insist, I will pick 25 Kille (Punjabi) and Heropanti.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
I love going to New Zealand. It is the most beautiful place I have been to.
Who are your favourite actors?
I am the biggest admirer of Sylvester Stallone. I love all his movies. From the female side, I truly admire and respect Meryl Streep for her versatility. (arti@khaleejtimes.com)
Message to Khaleej Times' readers
It's my favourite newspaper in the UAE and I am addicted to it whenever I am in Dubai. The UAE residents are lucky to have a great updated paper like Khaleej Times.
Mr Suhail Galadari is a very active person especially when it comes to Bollywood. I wish him great luck for all other ventures he is dealing in. I hope all his ventures meet the same success like Khaleej Times.
