Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar has wished superstar Sanjay Dutt on his release from jail after serving a 42-month prison-term.
Taking to Twitter, his wife, Saira Banu, tweeted on his behalf recalling the time when Kumar and Dutt's father, the late actor Sunil Dutt, tirelessly tried to sort issues during the time when Sanjay was first convicted in the early 90s:

The 'macho-man' of Bollywood, Dutt, finally walked out a free man from Pune's Yerwada Central Jail on Thursday (February 25).
He was sentenced to undergo five years rigorous imprisonment for illegal possession of arms during the March 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. Arrested in 1993, he had already served 18 months as an undertrial and then returned to jail in May 2013 to serve the remaining 42 months of his sentence.
"There's no easy road to freedom," said Dutt upon his exit from the Yerwada Central Jail.
He was welcomed by family, friends and fans outside the prison.
Recently, Kumar was also acquitted in an 18-year-long cheque bouncing case.
