Two regional performances in one day may have taken their toll on rapper Tyga, as the artist took to Instagram after his Base club pop-up gig in the capital on Saturday to upload a picture taken in an Abu Dhabi hospital thanking the doctors for their "best care".
In the since-deleted post, Tyga - real name Micheal Ray Stevenson - is seen wearing a facemask next to a drip (coincidentally, the 30-year old released a track titled Dubai Drip last year), annotated with his message of gratitude.
As well as the Base concert, which formed part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix celebrations, earlier on Saturday the hip-hop star had also appeared on stage in Saudi Arabia, featuring in the country's much-hyped Diryah Season music festival.
Having created a similarly themed Instagram update after a recent show in India where Tyga reportedly complained of feeling run down directly to the Mumbai crowd, speculation is the performer is suffering from exhaustion resulting from a hectic travel schedule.
