You host two programmes on She TV — Very Bold and Uncover. Are you a bold and rebellious character yourself?

I am both. I don't like to pretend being something that I am not.

Do you talk about everything without censorship on your shows?

It is the duty of the media to break all barriers but without hurting anyone's personal sentiments and with social responsibility.

Are men afraid of bold women?

I am a married woman, and a mother. My husband is proud of my shows because it takes up social issues.

You presented a special show on astrology. You did that despite being a strong opponent of that stream.

I cannot tolerate it when people allow their lives to be ruled by astrology to a degree of madness.

Does being bold also guarantee an audience?

The work has to be hard-hitting and bold. If that is not so, the audience will not accept our work as credible.

Why did you stop presenting the political programmes on NBN channel and begin hosting social programmes for She channel?

I did not stop hosting political programmes. But when I got an offer from She channel, I decided to challenge myself by doing something new. I continued hosting political shows for Lebanese radio.

Why does fame not come to talented people soon?

It just means that God does not forget people who are really valuable. Even if it is late, they get their due.

Your husband has been a pillar of strength for you.

I think that my husband has contributed in a big way to my success.

Do you discuss your work problems with your husband?

I try and avoid bringing my work home or discussing about problems. I like to keep my home away from work. But my daughter Lea watches my programmes and is very critical. She gives me her comments.

Does she also share her secrets with you?

She is 14 years old. She tells me everything since she has immense faith in me.
