The Festival was organised by the hotel in association with Chillout Productions, the founders and organisers of the Annual Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Jazz Festivals.
The one night only event attracted some of the best bands and hottest dancers from Latin America, who swayed to the rhythms and sounds of salsa, merengue, rumba and samba all night long.
Latino enthusiasts from all over the United Arab Emirates and neighbouring GCC countries thoroughly enjoyed the event as everyone danced to the beats of the bands. The live bands included Opera Samba led by Christina Diaz and the salsa group, led by Orlando Watussi and Charanga Nueva. The first large scale Latino theme party in the Middle East was an incredible experience for all those who attended and they enjoyed more than six hours of true Latino beats and ambience where music and dance came alive on the same stage.
The Beach Club provided a fantastic ambience around the giant stage specially erected to capture the sights and sounds of true Latino entertainment. Sponsor zones and exclusively created Latino food enhanced the night's experience.
Anthony Younes, Director, Chillout Productions, said: "We are delighted with the response to the First Latino Fiesta and look forward to working with the Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers later in the year to bring the Second Annual Abu Dhabi Jazz Festival."
Alitalia offered their support as always by giving away two round trip tickets to Milan and back. An official from Alitalia along with Omar Kadouri made the raffle draw. The two lucky winners will surely enjoy their trip to Milan this summer. The show went into its peak when the bands all performed together and invited many of the fans to dance on stage. Over 60 fans obeyed the request and the rushed on stage to show their talent.
