It was a stress-buster for sure and some learning too, as popular Indian stand-up Kenny Sebastian opened his show with a tale on how he overcame stage fright. Interesting, considering stand-ups mostly belong to a fearless tribe who are known to say it like it is.
The 26-year-old YouTube sensation had the full house exploding with laughter as he spewed out one witty line after another on Thursday night at the DUCTAC stage for Laugh-A-Ton - a series of monthly stand-up shows at the venue that will feature  with Biswa Rath (April) and ending with Abish Mathew (May).
Before Sebastian took to the stage, our own home-grown talent Miqdaad Dohadwala. warmed-up the audience with his gags revolving around the lives of typical Indian families.
However, once Sebastian was handed the mic, it was a non-stop laugh-a-thon session as he kept the audience tickled to bits with his microscopic observations of culture, people and their habits.
An interesting take was a depiction of his journey from a 19-year-old to a 26-year-old.
It was all about carefree days of youth and the world around him. During the session, he also lampooned typical middle-class families.
But the best part of the evening was Sebastian's finale. He slung a guitar and strummed impromptu numbers in his inimitable witty style! His singing impressed us. We are looking forward for a repeat, Kenny!
