Majid Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi, chairman of the Board of Directors at Union Coop, and Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, chairman and CEO of Meydan City Corporation, signed a contract to purchase a plot of land to establish a mall at Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City - District 11. The contract has been signed at Meydan - Dubai.
The signing was attended by Khalid Humaid bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop, along with Eng Madiya Al Marri, director of Properties and Projects Division, and Mohammed Al Marri, director of Business Development section at the Properties and Projects Division.
The mall will occupy an area of 206,000 square feet. It will consist of two floors containing a hypermarket, retail shops, and services outlets. With the world-class expertise of Union Coop in retail, this project will contribute to providing the best services to shoppers residing in the housing complex and Nad Al Sheba 1 and 2 areas and Wadi Al Safa (3).
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City - District 11 is a residential project consisting of two main areas: the first contains 1,500 semi-separate four-room villas, and the second containing 700 four-room housing units in Meydan Villas area. Both areas boast a unique arrangement of natural scenery, green spaces, and serviced with educational and service facilities. The project also features a unique position with easy access from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Dubai-Al Ain Road.
