Rak govt asks World Bank to conduct study

RAS AL KHAIMAH - The Ras Al Khaimah government has asked the World Bank to conduct a comprehensive study on investments part of the emirate’s master development plan .

”we have asked the World Bank to conduct studies on competitive factors for attracting foreign investment to the emirate,” Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, said in an open meeting after opening the second cultural festival organised by the emirates cultural and sports club.

”The world has become small village where countries are vying for luring foreign investment ..... Ras Al Khaimah is aspiring to get its share of these funds through providing a fertile ground for investment characterised with flexible regulations and legislation and transparent justice,” he added.
