ABU DHABI — Third Lebanese trade show launched yesterday at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre with the participation of over 50 exhibitors.
The four-day event was opened by Salim bin Mohammed Al Dhahiri, under secretary for Abu Dhabi Planning and Economy Department in the presence of a number of diplomats, UAE and Lebanese businessmen and dignitaries.
The show features a range of products from consumer commodities to luxurious items.
Lebanese exports to the UAE rose to $150 million in 2004 and its imports stood at $170 million. The UAE investment in Lebanon were valued at over $800 million while those of Lebanon in the UAE were $700 million.
