Jafza to attend expo in Istanbul

DUBAI - The Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) is participating in the International TurkeyBuild Istanbul 2004 Fair, organised by the Building Information Centre from May 5 to 9, 2004 in Tuyap Fair and Congress Centre, Beylikduzu, Istanbul.

The International TurkeyBuild Istanbul 2004 Fair, in which building technologies and a wide range of building materials produced by both Turkish and foreign companies is to be exhibited, is going to welcome nearly 600 national and international companies for the 27th time.

Ahmed Obaid Al Felasi, regional manager of Middle East, Jafza, said: "Jafza's participation in this Fair is based on importance of TurkeyBuild 2004 for the construction industry and manufacturing beside good market for the UAE to cover and bring potential customers to the Jafza."

Jafza is seeking to attract global investments to Dubai to strength the national economic ability to observe best high growth without any effect. Jafza companies until now reached to more than 2800 local and global companies from worldwide among them 163 construction companies.

Through a professional visitor organisation, International TurkeyBuild Istanbul 2004 Fair, which has welcomed 71,737 visitors in 2003 year's fair, is expected to meet nearly 75,000 visitors from all around the world. On a 52,000 sq mt fair area, companies will be exhibiting their products in seven halls. Companies will be grouped according to their exhibited products. The Building Information Centre will be organising supporting activities like seminars, exhibitions, and panel discussions during International TurkeyBuild Istanbul 2004 Fair, as to make an intellectual contribution to the building sector.
