Innovation and transformation will be key to the growth of the oil and gas sector, experts said ahead of the GOTECH 2019 conference.
More than 100 top drawer companies will be exhibiting their cutting-edge technologies and solutions at the third annual conference of its kind, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 21-23, 2019.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance of UAE, the event is organised by UAE-based oil and gas operator, Dragon Oil.
Scheduled at the conference are over 150 high caliber and interactive technical papers to be shared thereby providing sharp insight into the industry and its priorities. These readings will be further strengthened by the presence of five technical panels, where experts will put the spotlight on the pressing needs of the hour where the industry is concerned.
Industry leaders will also discuss the latest developments and innovations and bring attention to some debatable perspectives in the industry tackling pertinent topics such as artificial intelligence in oil and gas, well construction, production optimisation, health and safety and advanced geophysical applications. This year's Technical Conference is organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
There will also be an open house Plenary session with industry leaders where a no holds barred question and answer approach will generate new ideas, mark aspirations and underscore concerns with reference to the paths to take to a successful future for the oil and gas industry. - business@khaleejtimes.com
