DUBAI - Saturday will be an afternoon of surprises for the sailors contesting the Louis Vuitton Trophy, as they switch from their America’s Cup Class yachts to dhows for a race along Dubai’s coast – the first time that non-Emiratis have been allowed to race on board the traditional craft.
The 11 guest sailors will be accompanied by five Emirati crew and the boats skipper, who will coach them on technique. ach 19-20 knots.
