Foreign investors buy Dh1.7b worth shares on DFM

DUBAI -Dubai Financial Market announced yesterday that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (March 16 - March 19) reached Dh1.729 billion comprising 40.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh1.947 billion comprising 45.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh218.2 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh1.315 billion comprising 30.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh1.690 billion which constitutes 39.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh374.6 million.
