Alexander Pichel for the position of Resident Manager, Peter Gassner as Director of Food & Beverage and Steven Cox as the Grand Spa Director.
Alexander Pichel started his hospitality career with Hyatt over 10 years ago. He has worked in several Hyatt properties across the globe including a property in the Middle East. Prior to joining Grand Hyatt Dubai, Alexander held the position of Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms at Hyatt Regency Mainz.
Peter Gassner is also no stranger to the Middle East with five years in the region. Hailing from two and a half years at Grand Hyatt Amman before returning to Dubai, he was previously at Hyatt Regency Dubai for the same amount of time. With seven years in the Food & Beverage industry, Peter has also worked in the well-known South African hotel, Sun City. An Austrian national, he had completed his hotel management course in Austria’s top hotel school.
As the third new executive appointment, Steven Cox brings valuable knowledge to Grand Hyatt Dubai and the UAE market.
