ETA Ascon Star Pledges to Eradicate Poverty
DUBAI - The senior management and employees of the ETA Ascon Star family gathered in large numbers on October 18 and 19 in UAE to take a pledge to eradicate extreme poverty and work towards an environmentally sustainable world. Sporting bright white signature T-shirts, over 7190 employees across 45 locations in the UAE showed their solidarity towards the UN-supported Mission Green Earth Stand Up and Take Action campaign by taking the pledge.

Syed M. Salahuddin, Managing Director of the group, who also participated in this event, stressed upon the importance of adopting simple measures to judiciously use the resources available to us in our daily lives. Only this would make the pledge meaningful, he said.
“Nature is nature,” he said, adding that unlike man-made marvels which we tired of easily, natural beauty like the seas and the mountains are always a refreshing experience. “We must do everything we can to protect Nature,” he pointed out.
