Emirates Int’l Date Palm Festival opens
DUBAI — Emirates International Date Palm Festival was officially inaugurated on Monday by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour; Dr Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment; Azuldin Abdullah Hussein, Minister of Agriculture in Iraq; Rashid Al Shariqi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority; Jamal Al Majid, Al Majid Group; and a number of senior officials attended the opening ceremony.
