Dubal, Nakheel Win Prestigious Awards
DUBAI - Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (Dubal) has once again proved its mettle by receiving four accolades in three categories of the Emirates Energy Award 2008 competition.
The awards, presented to representatives of Dubal are: Major Energy Award 2008 to DUBAL’s ‘Redirect Culvert Outfall’ project; Major Energy Award 2008, runner-up, Compressed Air System Optimisation’ project; Minor Energy Award 2008 for Reduction in Distribution Losses’ project and Engineer Award 2008 — runner-up: Presented to Mohammed J Sadek (Manager, Mechanical, Power and Desalination Plant).
Meanwhile Nakheel bagged Minor Energy Project Award for its pilot energy conservation projects at The Gardens Furnished Apartments as well as the Energy Engineer award as a personal gratitude for Mohamed P.A., Manager — Facility Management.
