Dubai Furniture Manufacturing Company (DFMC), manufacturer and marketer of Serta and King Koil mattresses in the Middle East will continue to aim for stronger presence and increase market share in the premium segment of the mattress industry in the region.
This was the message conveyed by DFMC to customers, suppliers and dealers at a gala dinner held at Grand Habtoor Beach Resort and Spa recently, where the company recognised the business and support of their associates for making DFMC the market leader in the premium segment of the mattress industry for the last 23 years.
Currently, DFMC has more than 60 per cent share of the premium mattress market and it expects to increase the share and further distance itself from the competition.
"With the continued support of our partners, we aim to grow stronger and be able to provide high-quality mattresses and sleep systems to a wider range of customers," said Sundar Rajan, CEO of DFMC.
The appreciation dinner was held coinciding with The Hotel Show where DFMC showcased their premium products from the King Koil and Serta brands. "Since most of our customers and suppliers attended the show, this is the good opportunity to meet and appreciate them for their business and support," added Rajan.
During the function, DFMC launched EZ Lift, a bed lifting mechanism aimed to benefit the hotel housekeeping staff as it makes handling the bed very easy and minimises the chance of any damage. It saves time, effort and energy for preparing the bed and cleaning under the bed becomes easy.
There were product demonstrations of mattress encasement, shield plus mattress protector and pocketed spring system that were all showcased at the three-day Hotel Show, the largest and most comprehensive business event for the hospitality industry in the Middle East and Africa.
