Damac Properties has launched sales of Akoya Play, a collection of three-bedroom villas set around a water park.

Earlier this month, Damac had launched MOD townhouses in Akoya Oxygen priced at Dh595,000. Each MOD townhouse includes one bedroom, a living room and study with a private garden.
At this price point, the townhouses in Avencia cluster within Akoya Oxygen are even cheaper than several apartments for sale in Dubai.
"With such low entry points, it encourages smaller income groups to enter the property market. However, one has to evaluate what one is getting for the money paid. There are no free lunches. One needs to see the size and layout apart from location and see if it works for them," says Niraj Masand, director, Banke International, a Dubai-based real estate agency.
"A 1 bedroom + study + exclusive garden starting at Dh595,000 is a fantastic offer from Damac. To own a townhouse at this price, which is cheaper than even apartments in most communities, is definitely a good investment for end-users and investors. With the convenient four-year payment plan, end-users should surely invest and own a home," advises Mahendra Singh, managing director of Aurum Real Estate.
