Actor Akshay Kumar unveiled the first-look poster of his character from superstar Rajinikanths "2.o". In the film, he is believed to be playing a character called Crow Man, the result of an experiment gone wrong.

Akshay Kumar plays the prime antagonist in the film.
Introducing his character as the new face of evil, Akshay shared the poster on his Twitter page.

According to Lyca Productions, the make up for Akshay's character would take six hours.
"Every day he has to get up six hours early, so that he can be on the sets on time," read a slide released by the makers.
Rajinikanth will also be playing the role of a scientist in the film.

The film, which is directed by S Shankar, also stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles.
Superstar Rajinikanth believes his upcoming Tamil science-fiction actioner "2.o" is not a prestigious film just for its makers but for the entire Indian cinema. "I enjoyed working on this film. This subject is very unique. This is not just a prestigious picture for the producers, director Shankar or the unit but it's one for the whole Indian cinema," Rajinikanth said at the first look launch event.

He's confident the Rs.350 crore mega budget film will match Hollywood standards. "Despite our (Indian cinema's) technical excellence and the financial strength, we could not reach Hollywood standard yet. But I'm confident this film will reach Hollywood level. It'll be a film our entire Indian film fraternity will be proud of," he said.
