Akshay Kumar is yet to decide on doing a remake version of Tamil film Kaththi. Directed by A R Murugadoss, Kaththi, the action drama features actor Vijay in dual roles along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others.
The film is now to be remade in Hindi. "Yes I am approached for the film. I have not decided about it (doing the film or not)," Akshay said.
The Khiladi actor has worked with director Murugadoss in Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. Kaththi revolves around the tale of Kathiresan and Jeevanantham who are lookalikes and focuses on the issue of farmers committing suicide due to corporate encroachment.
Akshay, who recently came out in support of distressed farmers and donated money for relief of drought-hit farmers in Maharashtra, is busy shooting for Airlift, which is based on the biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war. The film stars Akshay and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles and is scheduled for release on January 22 next year.
Besides this, Akshay will be seen in Housefull 3 and Rustom. There were also talks of Akshay coming up with the sequel of Oh My God. "No...Not yet I am still searching for a good subject," he said.
