Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority stated: "We wish Jet Airways all the best in their new destination offering, more choices to Sub-continent bound travelers and those visiting India business or tourism. This step came as a result of our collaboration and their trust in our services which we offer."
Shakir Kantawala, Jet Airways VP for Gulf, Middle East & Africa said, "UAE is becoming increasingly popular amongst the Indian population, be it for business travel, tourism or employment. To cater to this growing demand, Jet Airways has progressively taken steps to enhance capacity on the route either by deploying additional aircraft or introducing wide-body options on the sector. Jet Airways has established itself as the preferred airline on UAE-India route and expanding our already extensive network, allied to our reputation for service excellence, will ensure we remain the airline of choice for guests flying between UAE and India."
