Woman with 2kg cocaine in stomach held at airport
DUBAI - Dubai Customs recently arrested a woman with more than 2kg cocaine concealed in her stomach and an Asian with 411 grams of heroin in his stomach in separate incidents at Dubai International Airport.
The woman from an African country was subjected to a body scan after a woman inspector grew suspicious about her.
The scan and further investigation revealed the presence of 103 capsules of cocaine weighing 2.123kg in her stomach.
In a similar incident, an Asian passenger with 36 capsules of heroin weighing 411 grams in his stomach was arrested at Terminal 2, a day after Sharjah police said thay had busted a drug gang and seized heroin worth Dh40 million.
