A hilarious photo of an airline passenger boldly showing off layers of clothing that she put on to avoid paying excess baggage, is going viral.
Gel Rodriguez, from Davao City in the Philippines, was told by check-in staff that her suitcase was too heavy and that she needed to pay for extra luggage. But, Rodriguez refused to do say and instead opened her hand luggage and began putting on layers of clothes before boarding the jet.
According to reports in Mirror.co.uk, the woman had already put on an extra 2.5kg of clothing and said was feeling "too hot", wearing at least three pairs of trousers or shorts, five shirts and three jackets. Rodrigues posted her hilarious picture at the arrivals where she shows off the clever way she dodged extra baggage fee. The post went viral, garnering 20,000 shares and 32,000 reactions.
This is not the first time a passenger avoided paying extra baggage fee by putting on layers of clothes. In July this year, a 17-year-old boy posted a hilarious video of his father putting on 15 shirts and jumpers, weighing 8kg, to avoid paying extra fees for baggage at an airport in France.
However, not all passengers are lucky in dodging extra baggage fee and have been blocked from boarding while wearing multiple layers, reported Mirror.co.uk.
