The Dubai Garden Glow park, which opened to the public last November, will offer free barbecue facilities for visitors in March. Mohammed AbdulRahman Al Awadhi, Director of Horticulture and Public Parks Department at the Dubai Municipality, said barbecue equipment will be provided to people free of cost.
During March, visitors will be able to buy chicken and other raw materials inside the park so that they do not have to carry anything to the park. He said that since its inception, the Dubai Garden Glow attracted half a million visitors so far. Dubai Garden Glow, sprawled across 60 acres at Zabeel Park, offered a new Dinosaur Park for its second season this year. A Glow Park, under the theme "Lost Horizon" showcases extinct and endangered species of animals and plants, reminding visitors of the importance of nature preservation.
The Dinosaur Park, with 100 animatronic dinosaurs, offer fun and edutainment experiences like the Dino Lab, Museum and Zoo amidst other attractions, while the nature-inspired Glow Park showcases some magnificent LED-lit creative installations depicting the underwater world, animal kingdom and the galaxy to name a few. Visitors' entry to Garden Glow is through Gate Number 6 of Zabeel Park for Dh60 per ticket.
