UAE's UNDP chapter implements new software
ABU DHABI - The UNDP House in the UAE is among the first six countries to implement Atlas, the new networking software introduced early this year.
In a report issued by the UAE UNDP office, it says that Atlas was a great move towards networking all the administrative, financial and budgetary transactions of all the UN offices spread throughout the world. "While all other countries took time to implement the new software developed by 'People Soft Company', UAE was quick to understand the benefits and potential of such a software that will streamline all its operations," said Taghreed Haider, Executive/Public Information Associate at the UAE Office.
Seventy-two sites are leading the implementation, already successfully performing over 80 per cent of the fifty key business process in the system.
