UAE, Togo set up diplomatic ties
NEW YORK — The UAE has officially established diplomatic ties with the Republic of Togo with effect from Thursday, December 6, 2007, said a joint statement issued by the two countries here late on Thursday.
The statement was signed at the UAE’s permanent mission at the United Nations by the UAE’s permanent ambassador to the UN, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman and his Togolese counterpart, Roland Roland Y. Kpotsra, in the presence of members of the diplomatic missions of the two countries.
