Ajman Police have extended to the end of February 2018 the grace period for paying discounted traffic and impoundment fines in the emirate.
The decision comes in line with the directives made recently by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to slash by 50 percent all the traffic and impoundment fines incurred nationwide between January 1st and December 2nd, 2017, with the discounted fines to be paid within three months, after the elapse of which the full amount has to be paid.
The reduced fines can only be paid through the Ministry of Interior or Ajman Police smart apps.
