Take warning seriously

SO MANY years have passed and we still read about the grace period given to schools to shift out of villas, but they continue to impart education from villas and other premises not suited for the education. The grace period was given to the schools only to shift to suitable premises, but they continue to use this concession as an excuse.

Many schools are yet to shift from villas to buildings suitable for education, and continue to have classrooms even in kitchens of these villas. We dare say that nobody can recognise these villas as places of education till one closely observes the school's board.

But it was made clear yesterday that such schools will not be allowed to take any further advantage of this grace period, with General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, stating in no uncertain terms that schools not fully equipped and functioning out of unsuitable premises would attract very strict action.
