Superbrand status again for DTCM

DUBAI — For the second year running, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) was awarded the Superbrand Status for 2005 following a strict selection process by the UAE Superbrands Council consisting of eminent figures in the world of branding.

The 2005 Superbrands book, which pays tribute to the strongest brands in the industry, features the department among other high profile brands in the industry. These brands are the ones which have been most highly rated by the independent and voluntary Superbrands Council comprising eminent figures in the world of branding.

DTCM Director Operations & Marketing Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb who received the award on behalf of the department said: "We are proud of the department receiving this award for the second consecutive year which shows that the DTCM brand is recognised internationally and is proof of the department's efforts in promoting Dubai all over the world."
