Fans of the newest 'Whistling Diva' who missed her awesome performance last night (August 3), can still catch her at the same venue tonight.
Nina, whose magnetic smile, simple and beautiful looks and humble disposition are truly endearing, is expected to sing six to eight songs from her album to an 300-strong audience tonight. Organised by the Dubai-based Universal Events and Promotions FZ LLC, the show begins at 9pm. Nina will be backed by Clipperz, a nine-piece band.
Favourite cuts in her debut album 'Heaven' are 'Heaven', '2nd Floor', the Tagalog love song 'Kung Ibibigay', and revivals such as 'Foolish Heart', 'Loving You' and smash hit 'Jealous'.
The two-night show in Dubai is her second performance abroad, after having performed to record audiences in Japan. This month, Nina will be having a back-to-back concert with titled 'El Nino El Nina' Nyoy Volante at the Music Museum on August 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28.
Nina, who addressed a Press conference yesterday, confirmed she shares a special rapport onstage with Nyoy Volante. "He's a good friend of mine," said the Soul Siren, with a smile. Nina, however, also plays beautiful music together Jimmy Bondoc. "Jimmy sings with such deep emotion. He sings from his heart, and would usually close his eyes as he renders a song," she said.
Nina, Nyoy and Jimmy are three acoustic singers who usually perform together and with their countless gigs together, it's almost like they are inseparable triplets.
Nina's second album, 'Nina Smile', under Warner Music Philippines, is already showing signs of becoming yet another big hit, with her first single off the album, 'Make You Mine' doing very well on local radio stations and music video channels.
