The 2018 Drone Racing League (DRL) World Championship Finals will be held on Friday, September 14 at King Abdullah Economic City in Jeddah. The event will be hosted by Saudi Federation of Cyber Security, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP), under the patronage of the Saudi Royal Court advisor and the President of SAFCSP, Saud Alqahtani.

Bringing the DRL World Championships to the Kingdom underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to innovation in technology, as well to provide Saudi youth with continued access to the best possible opportunities to experience and work directly with the latest technology.
This opportunity is one more example of how Saudi Vision 2030 is trying to change the lives of Saudi youth by enabling them to pursue and realise their ambitions in such fields.

As part of the DRL World Championship, young Saudis will have an opportunity to attend a series of STEM workshops and work with some of the most experienced and skilled members of the DRL community.

The DRL Championships will bring top racers from around the world, including the United States, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The participants will compete in a three-dimensional race course.
Entrance to the event is free and coupons will be available on the competition's official website.
