RAK Crown Prince orders release of prisoners
RAS AL KHAIMAH - As per directives from the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi ordered today the release of 56 inmates serving terms in the reformative and punitive institutions in the emirate.
The kind gesture is given to mark the accession of Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud as the Crown Prince of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Courts Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatiri said that the crown prince will sponsor all financial and civil liabilities of the released prisoners and will also bear the cost of the extradition of the released prisoners of foreign origin.
