Private labels meet begins

DUBAI — The Private Label Middle East Exhibition 2006 was inaugurated on Sunday by Butti Saeed Al Ghandi, the chairman of the Dubai Investment Group at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The show brings together 80 exhibitors from 20 countries including national pavilions for Germany and Turkey. In addition to this, other participants come from UAE. Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Poland, Taiwan and Ukraine. They specialise in the research, development, design, and packaging of brands that are manufactured under contract for sale under private labels. The participants have a wide range of products ranging from food and drink to hygiene and home care, chemicals, kitchenware, stationery, clothing, plastics and paper.
