Postcard millionaire winning ticket number announced
DUBAI — The city has a new millionaire. The number for the Grand draw was announced on Thursday as six winners of previous Postcard Millionaire draws received their prizes from Emirates Post officials. Umesh Sugandh (0601269) won the top prize of Dh500,000. Hasan Ali Mohammad Najem, an AC technician, (2110601, draw 7) and Saif Ebrahim Mohamed (4104511, draw 2), each went home Dh150,000 richer.
The other winners were, Hamza Thottilathodi, a father of (1708594), Lalit Mohandas, a data analyst with Dnata (6009989) and Ram Mohan, (3263809), each won Dh10,000 in the seventh draw.
A 45-minute Keralite cultural show preceded the draw. Shoppers waited through a recital of Trivadura, the traditional Kerala welcome dance, followed by a recital of the five-member band Panchvedium. The cultural programme ended with the Puli Kachi (tiger dance).
The winner was announced at Lulu Hypermarket, Ghusais. Ticket number 0822546 was picked as the winning number in Thursday’s draw.
