He became the youngest winner of the Dh1 million in the National Bonds draw of December 5, a weekly event that has chosen to favour his family twice.

“I feel proud to win twice a million this year,” says the father, Mumammad Inamul Haq, who works in the car brokerage business in Abu Dhabi and has been living there for the last 23 years.

His family won the prize in May as well. Interestingly, the family name “Inamul Haq” means the one to whom “reward” comes by “right”.

Talking to Khaleej Times, the father of child said, “I have five children and bought national bonds of Dh100,000 for each child.” Three are girls and two boys.

“I will spend this money on better education of my children and buy houses for them in the UAE,” he said. “I already own homes in Pakistan but now I buy it here for them.” Haq is from Sialkot in Pakistan.

Haq has invested in national bonds around eight months ago and won the prize after two months while for the children he bought it about a month before the winning date.

“I don’t find any better investment in the UAE than the National Bonds in which one can redeem the money at any time,” he said.

Hamdan, who was born on March 16, 2008, has now become one of the youngest millionaires of National Bonds.

Commenting on his second million, Haq said, “I never dreamt of winning for a second time. This is truly a gift from God. I intend to keep the prize money in National Bonds and use a part of it to buy property. Most of my winnings will eventually go for my children’s future education. Truly, National Bonds has become my favouurite safe place to save.”

Haq’s friends have always been requesting him to fill up their National Bonds application forms, as they hope that some of his luck will pass on to them. He always carries National Bonds application forms in his car and providing it to friends and colleagues.
