A Pakistani politician has claimed to have successfully extracted petrol from water and solar energy, sending shock waves across the globe.
In his speech, Dr Moazzam Niazi, chairman Pakistan Aman League stated that he and his fellows "had not only devised a new method for generating petrol but also extracted sugar from solar radiations."
"Give us any fruit and we would generate sugar out of it," Daily Pakistan quoted him saying.
Niazi added that using his method of extracting petrol will require Rs950 million investment.
"I wish before the next general elections, I could provide free petrol to Faisalabad' the scientist opined.
