Sharjah Police have arrested a 36-year old Pakistani for allegedly killing his father with a knife.
The incident took place today at the victim's house in Kalba. The suspect attacked his father with a knife, causing him severe injuries. He was quickly rushed by family members to Kalba Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
Police said that after they received the information, a team of CID officers rushed to the hospital and collected the report, which found that the victim died of stab wounds to the chest.
Police immediately moved to the crime scene to investigate. During interrogations, it was revealed that the victim has a quarrel with his son due to family differences. During the heated discussion, the suspect stabbed his father in the chest and fled the scene.
Police immediately launched a manhunt and managed to arrest the suspect in less than one hour.
