A powerful bomb went off at an open-air market in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta on Friday, killing at least 16 people and wounding 30, police and hospital officials said.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his condolences on Twitter saying immediate inquiry will be set up and increased security will be provided to the people.
Deeply saddened & have strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Hazarganji market area of Quetta targeting our innocent people. I have asked for an immediate inquiry & increased security for the ppl.
