Mohammed receives BIE team
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received at his Palace in Zabeel on Tuesday the chairman and members of the visiting Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).
The visiting delegation is here to get themselves acquainted with the preparations and the available potentials in the country to host the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Lt. General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Shaikh Mohammed welcomed the delegation and affirmed the interest of the country’s leadership and the concerned authorities on holding this important event, which plays significant role in building the cultural bridges between people of the world and the UAE.
