The conference held at Festival City, Dubai, is being attended by more than a thousand delegates including principals of various schools across the country, their assistants and the administrative guidance staff at the Ministry.
Addressing the opening session of the conference, Shaikh Mohammed said that the efforts of those who work in the education sector in the UAE are being closely followed by him through various channels such as field visits, periodic reports from the Minister of Education or through e-mails containing suggestions, ideas and proposals which are sent to the Prime Minister’s website.
He said: “We appreciate your work and efforts and believe that you are the real knights in the field of education. Everyone, beginning from His Highness, the President (Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan) and the students as well as their parents appreciate these efforts.”
He called on the participants to nurture positive attitude in dealing with the challenges facing them in the educational field.
“Look back and see how our was country 20 years ago and how has it become today through development and progress.
“Despite all the challenges we had to encounter in the past, we have overcome all the oddities through determination, dedication, faith in God and the capabilities of our citizens,” Shaikh Mohammed stressed.
“The future of our dear homeland is in the hands of its educated children. They are able to shape the future of their homeland and the coming generations. They will meet challenges with challenges,” stressed Shaikh Mohammed.
